My New Favorite Progressive Motorcycle Riding Shoes For Now! Biker Approved!

The Icon Patrol 2 Boots met my standards and I really enjoyed wearing them during this motorcycle trip. When you first look them over you can tell they are built well and quality.  These shoes/boots offer much riding protection, yet are comfortable and stylish. They come on an off very easy with the BOA lacing system. With the BOA lacing system, classic laces are replaced by stainless steel wires, connected to a turning knob. You can tighten or loosen these shoes to just the right feel. I wore the Icon Patrol 2 Boots in temperatures ranging from 45 degrees to 100+ degrees and they handled it well. They could be worn in much colder temps without a problem. Of course, in 100 degree temps your feet can get warm but that is understood and the same thing would happen in any boots. My feet did not get any warmer in the Icon Patrol 2 boots than in any other motorcycle riding shoe/boot I’ve tested thus far.

  1. It looks like a great boot Ryan but what happens when some drunken biker stomps the toe of the ICON Patrol II boot?  Will it protect my feet from that onslaught like the leather boot (which I hate myself)?   Ya know those guys don't fight fair!!  Hahaha!!

  2. I completely agree they are awesome boots. I got my pair several months ago and have 4,500 miles on them in all temp ranges and they are really comfortable. If/when they wear out I will likely buy them again.

  3. My problem is I'm 5'6" and run a 28" inseam. I need huge heels to hold up my limited, luggage, and my wife. At 142 pounds it ain't easy at times. Boots to be comfortable and usable are hard to find.

  4. They look real nice! Just a little out of my price range. I was looking recently and found a shoe/boot that was super cheap at $100 by street and steel and it is amazing for the money. The tightening feature on these with the dial looks pretty awesome though and definitely safer than laces.

  5. Nice video. I was waiting for this!!! I did just buy some ranch style work boots at ranch and home! $100 after 50%off!! So far I love them!! Super comfortable and with my bunion on top of my wife ass 🦶. It seems my left foot is wider than my right. Lol.

  6. Looks like a good option for a light to medium duty riding shoe. I went to adventure boots after my crash. Your feet and lower legs are so susceptible to damage during a crash. The waterproof capability is a great feature. I like 'em!

  7. I have purchased other shoes based on your reviews. Looking forward to giving these a try. Do you have a preference for the socks you use .Seems like good old fashion cotton mid socks have worked the best for me Another well thought out actual user review Excellent job Ryan

  8. I’m sure you wear leather boots while you’re on your motor at work. I’d be considering some other type shoes . Those things are expensive and you can’t put New souls on them if they need fixed.

  9. Didn't know about these. I've had some Adidas BOA golf shoes for over a year and IMO, that system is the way to go. Feet will swell up throughout the day and the BOA system allows you to open them up in milliseconds for pressure relief. Almost like buying multiple sized shoes in one. Been riding with the HAIX Black Eagle Athletic 2.0 T High Side Zip model and they are a PITA to put on and take off. Thanks Ryan, I'll be ordering these today.

  10. I agree with you Ryan most of my leather accessories are non Harley-Davidson clothing and they're cheaper plus Harley-Davidson doesn't have anything in my size not even Kevlar riding jeans or boots I bought a pair of Milwaukee riding boots they're not that great enjoyed the video very much thank you
